Formed in April 2025, the Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public benefit nonprofit organization created to expand the reach and impact of our Chamber’s mission. It serves as the philanthropic arm of the Chamber, providing new opportunities to support programs and projects that directly benefit Bonne Terre and the surrounding region. Our Mission - Advance economic development and prosperity throughout our region. - Support leadership and workforce development to empower the next generation. - Provide scholarships to help keep our brightest students living and working in our community. - Promote tourism and cultural enrichment in St. Francois County. - Enhance educational partnerships, especially with the North St. Francois County School District. - Revitalize and uplift local neighborhoods, businesses, and infrastructure. Why a Foundation? Foundations open doors to grants, donations, and partnerships that a traditional 501(c)(6) chamber cannot access. From major redevelopment to youth leadership programs, the Bonne Terre Chamber Foundation allows us to dream bigger—and deliver results.
